Scared of heights? Me too.
Took a trip up the mountains during my Hearth & Fortune playtest. Stayed for the sunrise. Now I need to get back down.

From the snow to first light.
Jim’s mountain-height photographs begin on in-game Day 2 in the afternoon. One frame opens the drop toward the lake; another looks toward the coast. By Day 3, the light changes through dawn and into morning.
At 07:30 AM, the player stands above the valley with two NPC companions. “The only thing better than a wonderful new game to play is sharing the view with friends,” Jim said. They are game characters in a single-player build, not other players. The picture is a memorable moment, while route reliability still needs testing.
Four frames from the height.
See the coast, sunrise, morning lake and the NPC companions who joined Jim at the overlook. The gallery keeps all nine mountain frames in game-time order.

A second high viewpoint looks toward the coast and the valley below.

The sun breaks over the coast while the player stands above the dark valley.

Jim's character and two NPC companions share the snowy overlook. This is single-player gameplay; the image does not establish that companion routes are fully reliable.

Later that morning, the player looks across the lake, forest and snowy ridge in clearer daylight. This is actual alpha gameplay, not proof that the whole valley is finished.
